Andrea’s journey with yoga began in 1996.   Although she was instantly drawn to the physicality of the practice, what resonated most deeply was the nurturing aspects of yoga. Yoga encouraged her to turn her attention inward, dive deep within her true self and in turn, opened the door to a transformative path of healing, self-love, growth and deep connection with Spirit.  Soon after, she traveled to Mysore, India where she studied extensively with the Jois family; received Level 2 Authorization to teach Ashtanga Yoga by the late Shri K. Pattabhi Jois and now teaches daily Ashtanga Yoga Mysore style classes, vinyasa flow, restorative yoga and is a Certified Yoga Therapist.

Building on years of fitness, team sports, and coaching experience, Julio took a hiatus from the corporate sales world in 2012 to become an entrepreneur in fitness. He is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Functional Strength & Conditioning coach and Precision Nutrition certified.

He brings his positive outlook and personal transformative journey in support of each client, and thrives on helping others fully connect to their most authentic self.

Julio has a BS from George Mason University, and a lifelong love of athletic and human performance. When he’s not training clients, he’s hanging with his family, surfing Swamis or checking out a show at The Belly Up.

Dr. Michelle Wolford created this Summer Wellness Symposium for the healthy foundation of vibrant and abundant living for her patients.  The speakers series highlights her top practitioners and colleagues that she herself works with and sends her patient population too!
